For over three decades, we've been building a community where passion meets expertise, where every player—from beginners to rising stars—discovers their potential on the court.
Hi, I'm Marcus—originally from the UK, now happily calling Adelaide home and I've been coaching tennis since 1989. Tennis has taken me on a pretty wild adventure over the years, from Egypt to China to Malaysia to the Gold Coast, and finally back here to run Fuzzball Tennis Coaching. No matter where I am in the world, my favourite part of the job never changes; helping players enjoy the game, feel confident, and surprise themselves with what they can do.
At Fuzzball Tennis Coaching, I bring a big dose of enthusiasm, encouragement, and a playful coaching style that keeps things light but effective. I work with everyone—juniors, adults, beginners, rising stars, and anyone who just loves picking up a racket. I've coached private lessons, squads of all levels, community groups, corporate days, birthday parties, you name it. My training started at the Adrian Stonebridge Tennis Teachers Academy back in the UK, and I later earned my USPTR Pro Level certification, giving me a solid foundation to blend with decades of real-world experience.
Whether you're here to learn, improve, or simply have fun on court, I'm all about creating a welcoming, energetic environment where tennis feels exciting, achievable, and uniquely Fuzzball.

At the end of each session, we ask ourselves: Did we make this happen?
It's this commitment to keeping tennis enjoyable, engaging, and meaningful that led me to develop 3 LiTTLE WORDS.
Over years of coaching, I've explored the science behind how we learn and move on the court, and from that, I created my own simple, unique system. 3 LiTTLE WORDS makes understanding the biomechanics of tennis effortless and fun.
I realised early on that everyone's attention is limited, so instead of overwhelming students with technical explanations, this system breaks it down into bite-sized, easy-to-remember ideas. It's simple to grasp, easy to demonstrate, and helps every player connect with the game quickly—making learning tennis enjoyable for everyone.
Easy-to-understand concepts that stick
Clear visual and practical examples
Helps players connect with the game instantly
